Akin Projects is run by artists for artists, providing free and low-cost public programming. We uplift creative voices, support community development, and foster a strong and healthy arts environment, online and in-person. Our offerings include skillsharing, network building, paid opportunities for artists, and health and wellness support for the creative community.

Responding to the changing needs of our community, Akin’s mandate for free and accessible programming reflects the values at the heart of our organization.  From professional development & educational opportunities to exhibitions & open studio events, we aim to offer a variety of programming options in Toronto and beyond.
